Hello! I’m originally from the Netherlands and moved to the United States when I was 16. Having traveled extensively myself, I understand how important it is to find a comfortable, welcoming place to call home while away.

 

For more than 20 years, I have enjoyed hosting guests from around the world—particularly medical observers, postgraduate students, researchers, residents, and fellows affiliated with Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, and Case Western Reserve University. I especially appreciate guests who are friendly, relaxed, and respectful of the home and one another.

 

Larchmere Living is located in the safe, vibrant, and historic Larchmere neighborhood. The area is known for its independent restaurants, cafés, galleries, antique shops, and welcoming residential atmosphere. Groceries, restaurants, and everyday conveniences are all within walking distance.

 

Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, Case Western Reserve University, and University Circle are approximately a 20–30-minute walk away, depending on your destination. Cleveland Clinic and Case Western can also be reached in about 15 minutes by bus, 10 minutes by bicycle, or just a few minutes by car. Bicycles are available for guests who would like to use them.

 

Guests are welcome to enjoy the shared spaces throughout the house, including the spacious private courtyard and roof deck. The rooms and common areas have been thoughtfully decorated, but this is not meant to feel like a hotel—I want you to settle in, feel comfortable, and make yourself at home.
